1 John 4:13-14 Hereby know we
that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us
of his Spirit. 14 And we have seen and do testify
that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.
Testimonies from the lives of believers have a great
impact on others who hear them and take time to consider. A
genuine testimony will attest first of all to the goodness and
power of God and His willingness to help the believer in even
the most extreme circumstances. From simple prayer
requests to the need for supernatural strength to overcome the
impossible, testimonies attest to the reality of the power of
God given by His Grace to the believer. Ultimately they
give proof to the truth that the Father sent His Son Jesus
Christ to be our savior and provide all that we need to
live our lives more abundantly (John 10:10).
